# How to Enable Coupons for Subscription Products

|| Making your coupons compatible with subscription products can help increase sales and customer retention. This feature allows customers to apply coupons to their recurring orders, encouraging long-term engagement. Steps to Enable Coupons for Subscriptions:


### 1. Create or Edit a Coupon
* Go to your Klip Dashboard and either create a new coupon or click on the name of an existing coupon that you want to modify.

### 2. Navigate to the Coupon Section
* Under the Coupon Info section, scroll down until you see the **Purchase type** setting.

### 3. Apply the Coupon Discount to Specific Purchase Types

You can choose where to apply your coupon discount by selecting one of the following purchase types:

* **One-time purchase**: Apply the coupon to regular, non-subscription products.
* **Subscription**: Apply the coupon to products with subscription options enabled.
* **Both**: Apply the coupon to both regular purchases and subscription-based products.

To apply the discount to subscriptions, simply select **Subscription** or **Both**. This will ensure your Klip Coupons are applied to products with subscription options enabled!

### 4. Save Your Settings:

* Click **Save** to apply the changes. Your coupons are now compatible with subscription products.

| Check Subscription App Compatibility: Ensure your subscription app is compatible with Klip Coupons. Some subscription apps may have limitations that affect how discounts are applied.

| Communicate Clearly: Let your customers know that discounts are available on their subscriptions. This can encourage more customers to subscribe and take advantage of the savings.
