How to Exclude Products from a Klip Coupon

Excluding specific products from a coupon allows you to run more targeted promotions and protect certain items from being discounted. You can easily choose which products should not be eligible for a coupon using the "Exclude products" option. Follow the steps below to set this up.

1. Create or Edit a Coupon

Go to your Klip Dashboard and either create a new coupon or click on the name of an existing coupon you want to modify.

2. Click "Exclude Products"

In the coupon setup page, scroll down until you see the Exclude products option. Click on it to open the product selection popup.

3. Select Products to Exclude

Search for and select the products that should not be eligible for the coupon. You can exclude one or multiple products from your catalog.

Once selected, these products will be excluded from the coupon and will not receive the discount at checkout.

4. Save the Coupon Settings

Click Save to apply your changes. Your coupon is now ready to use and will exclude the selected products.

5. Test the Coupon

Add excluded and eligible products to your cart and apply the coupon to confirm that it works as expected.

Why Use Product Exclusions?

Product exclusions are a simple but powerful way to control how your discounts are applied. They’re especially useful if you want to:

  • Avoid discounting high margin or limited stock products
  • Protect items that are already part of another promotion
  • Keep new releases or premium items at full price
  • Focus your discount on specific product categories or collections

Excluding products from your coupon helps you run more intentional, profitable campaigns, and Klip makes it easy to set up in just a few clicks.
