How to Set a Maximum Discount Value

Want to make sure your discounts don’t go over a certain amount? Use Klip Coupons to easily set a maximum discount value for both order discounts and shipping discounts to keep your promotions under control.

Setting a Maximum Discount for Order Discounts

Create or Edit a Coupon

Go to your Klip Dashboard, open the Coupons section, and either create a new coupon or click on a coupon name to edit an existing one.

Choose Order Discount

Set Order Discount as the discount type.

Add a Maximum Discount Value

Scroll down and click Add Maximum Discount Value, then enter the highest order discount amount you want to allow. This ensures customers can’t exceed your defined order discount limit.

Need to set a limit on free or discounted shipping? Just follow these steps:

Choose Shipping Discount

Set Shipping Discount as the discount type.

Add a Maximum Discount Value

Scroll down and click Add Maximum Discount Value, then enter the highest shipping discount amount you want to allow. This helps you control free or reduced shipping so it never goes beyond your defined limit.
