How to Set Re-Occurring Countdown Timers

1. Create or Edit a Coupon

Go to your Klip Dashboard
Either create a new coupon or click on a coupon name to edit an existing one.

2. Navigate to the Coupon Design Section

Scroll down to the Coupon Design section in the coupon settings.

3. Set Up Countdown Timer Behavior

In the Countdown Timer section, you now have two different timer options depending on how you'd like your countdown to behave:

Option A: Auto-Restart Countdown Timer

Enable “Always restart timer after it expires” to automatically reset the countdown after it ends.

Then choose one of the following reset options:

Immediately – The timer resets as soon as it expires.
After Specific Time – The timer resets after a set delay (e.g., 5 minutes, 1 hour).

This is useful for promotions where the timer should keep cycling continuously.

Option B: Daily Recurring Timer

Want the countdown to run only during specific days and times?

Use the Daily Recurring option to set a schedule for when the timer is visible and active—ideal for daily deals, flash sales, or limited-time windows without needing to reset the timer manually.

You can specify:

Days of the week (e.g., Monday to Friday)
Daily start and end times (in EDT)

💡 The timer will automatically appear and reset within your defined schedule.

Example:

Countdown is active Monday to Friday
From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EDT

4. Save and Preview

Click Save at the top right corner of the Klip Dashboard to apply your changes.

Test your settings by visiting your store:

Create a timer with a short duration to make testing easier.
Check if the timer behaves according to the settings you configured.

5. Update as Needed

You can revisit this setting anytime to adjust the countdown behavior based on your promotion requirements.
