How to Set Up Manual Discount Codes on Klip Coupons

Klip Discount Codes make it easy to offer promotions, reward customers, and drive sales. Whether you want to run seasonal discounts, special offers, or encourage subscriptions, creating a discount code is simple and customizable. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

1. Add a New Coupon

Start by going to your Klip Dashboard and clicking “Add Coupon”. This will launch the coupon creation workflow where you can configure your discount code.

2. Select Coupon Type

Choose the type of coupon you want to create:

• Product Discount – Apply a discount to specific products.
• BOGO (Buy One, Get One) – Encourage customers to buy more with BOGO offers.
• Order Discount – Apply a discount to the entire order.
• Shipping Discount – Offer free or discounted shipping.

3. Choose Redemption Method

Under Redemption Method, select Discount Code. This allows customers to enter a code at checkout to apply the coupon.

4. Set Up and Customize Your Coupon

Configure your coupon details:

• Coupon Name: Enter a descriptive name, e.g., Summer Sale or Welcome Discount.
• Coupon Type: Choose Percentage, Fixed Amount, or Shipping Discount, depending on your promotion.
• Discount Value: Set the discount amount, such as 20% off or $10 off.

5. Select Products

Decide where the coupon should apply in the Applies To section:

• Specific products
• Product variants
• Collections

This lets you target your promotions precisely to the products or categories you want.

6. Apply the Coupon to Specific Purchase Types

Klip Discount Codes can be applied to different purchase models:

• One-time Purchase – For regular, non-subscription products.
• Subscription – For products with subscription options enabled.
• Both – Apply to both regular and subscription-based products.

7. Configure Coupon Combinations

Next to the Coupon Info, you’ll see Eligibility & Targeting. Once selected, you can access the Combinations setting. Here you can choose which Klip coupons your new discount can combine with:

• Product Discounts
• Shipping Discounts
• Order Discounts

Simply check or uncheck the options depending on whether you want your coupon to be combined with other discounts. This helps you control how multiple promotions interact for your customers.

8. Save and Publish
