How to Set Up Multi-language Coupons (Translation Feature)
With the Multi-language Coupons feature, you can translate your coupons to different languages, providing a seamless experience for customers in various regions. Follow the steps below to translate your coupons and make them accessible to a global audience.
To set up translations, either create a new coupon or click on the name of an existing coupon that you want to modify.
In the coupon setup or edit page, locate and click on the Translate button in the upper right corner of the screen.
In the translation menu, you will see a dropdown menu containing all the languages available in your Shopify store.
Select the language you want to translate first. Each language needs to be translated individually, so make sure to go through each one that you want to support.
If you want to automatically translate the coupon text, click on the Auto Translate button. This will generate translations for all the available languages based on your selected language.
Review the auto-translated text and make any necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and clarity.
If you prefer to enter translations manually or need to make specific edits, you can enter the translated text for each part of the coupon, such as the title, description, and terms.
Ensure that all required fields are translated for each language.
Once you have reviewed or entered the translations for all the desired languages, click Save to apply the changes.
Your coupon is now translated and will display the appropriate language based on the customer’s language preference in your store.
If you do not see additional languages other than your original one, you need to ensure that your Shopify store supports multiple languages.
Go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard and search for "Languages" in the settings.
Click on Add Language and choose the language you want to support in your store.
Choose the language from the list and click Add to enable it in your store.
Now, this language will appear as an option in the Klip Coupons translation settings.
