How to Setup a One-Time Use Coupon
One-time use coupons are a great way to offer exclusive discounts to specific customers while preventing the coupon from being reused. This is particularly useful for promotions such as welcome offers, special events, or rewards for loyal customers. Follow the steps below to create a one-time use coupon.
Go to your Klip Dashboard and either create a new coupon or click on the name of an existing coupon that you want to modify.
Navigate to the Eligibility & Target section.
Choose between All logged-in customers or Specific customers. This determines which customers are eligible to use the coupon.
Toggle on the Set a one-time use coupon option. This setting ensures that each eligible customer can use the coupon only once.
Click Save to apply the changes. The coupon is now restricted to one-time use per customer based on the criteria you set.
Let your customers know that this is a one-time use offer. You can include this information in your marketing emails or promotional banners to create a sense of exclusivity and urgency.
Additional Tips
Combine with Expiry Dates: Set an expiry date in the Schedule section to add a time limit to your one-time use coupons, creating a stronger incentive for customers to act quickly.
Use with Customer Tags: Target specific customer segments, such as first-time buyers or loyal customers, by using customer tags in the eligibility settings.
