# How to Show Coupons on the Checkout Page (Shopify Plus)

# How to Show Coupons on the Checkout Page (Shopify Plus)

|| Before you begin: Checkout page coupons are available only for **Shopify Plus** merchants. If your store is on Shopify Plus, you'll find the setting inside any coupon's design options.

Klip can now show your coupons directly on your store's checkout page, giving customers one more chance to see and clip a discount before they complete their order. This guide walks you through turning it on for any coupon.

### Step 1: Enable Checkout Page Coupons

Go to Klip Settings and open the Checkout Page tab. Make sure Checkout Page coupons are activated.

### Step 2: Open or create a coupon

From your Klip dashboard, open the coupon you want to show on checkout. You can edit an existing coupon, or click Create coupon to make a new one.

### Step 3: Go to Coupon Design

Inside the coupon, open the Coupon Design step.

### Step 4: Turn on Show on checkout page

Scroll to the Coupon visibility section and switch on Show on checkout page.

### Step 5: Save your coupon

Click Save to apply your changes.

Next, add the Klip coupon block to your checkout. You only need to do this once. After the block is in place, any coupon with Show on checkout page turned on will appear here.

### Step 6: Back up your theme

Before editing your theme, make a backup you can restore if anything goes wrong. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes, open the Actions menu for your live theme, and select Duplicate.

### Step 7: Open the theme editor

Click Customize on your live theme to open the theme editor.

### Step 8: Go to the checkout page

Click the page selector at the top of the editor and open the Checkout and customer accounts section.

### Step 9: Add the Klip checkout coupon block

In Order summary, click Add block and choose the Klip checkout coupon block. Adjust its position and settings as needed.

### Step 10: Save

Click Save. Your coupon will now show on the checkout page of your live store.

## Additional Tips

| You can turn Show on checkout page on or off for each coupon on its own, so you decide exactly which discounts appear at checkout.

| Checkout is the last step before a customer pays, so it's a strong spot to feature your best offer.

| If a coupon isn't showing after you save, refresh the checkout page once. If it still doesn't appear, message us and we'll take a look.
