How to Accept a Collaborator Request in Shopify
When a support team or developer needs access to your Shopify store to assist you, they will send a collaborator request. You must accept it in Shopify to grant them access.
Option 1: Open the Email from Shopify

- Click the View request button in the email.
- Log in to your Shopify store if prompted.
- Review the requested permissions and adjust if needed.
- Click Approve (or Accept request) to confirm.
Option 2: Accept via Shopify Admin (Backup Method)
If you didn’t receive the email or prefer to accept from Shopify directly, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to Shopify
- Go to shopify.com and log in to your store.
- Make sure you are using the store owner account or an account with full permissions.
Step 2: Open Users & Permissions and Find the Collaborator Request
- From your Shopify admin, click Settings in the bottom-left corner.
- In Settings, select Users.
- Scroll down to the Collaborator requests section.
- Look for the pending request from SevSolutions.

Step 3: Accept the Request
- Click Accept next to the request.
- Review the requested permissions (for example: products, orders, themes).
- Confirm by clicking Accept request.

Step 4: Confirmation
- Once accepted, the collaborator will gain access to your store and can help with your ticket or issue.
- You can manage or remove collaborator access at any time in Settings → Users and Permissions → Collaborators.
Optional: Find Your Collaborator Request Code
In some cases, we may ask you to share your collaborator request code before sending a collaborator request.
- From your Shopify admin, click Settings.
- Click Users.
- In the Users page, select the Security tab.
- Locate the Collaborator request code and copy it.
- Share the code with our support team if requested.
