How to Adjust Coupon Discount Types and Values

Adjusting the discount value and type of your coupons is essential for creating targeted promotions that meet your marketing goals. Whether you want to offer a percentage discount, a fixed amount off, or a shipping discount, Klip makes it easy to customize these settings. Follow the steps below to change your coupon’s discount value and type.

1. Create or Edit a Coupon

Go to your Klip Dashboard and either create a new coupon or click on the name of an existing coupon that you want to modify.

2. Navigate to the Coupon Info Section

Under the Coupon Info section, you’ll find settings to adjust the type and value of your discount.

3. Choose Your Coupon Type

Select your preferred coupon type from the following options:

**Percentage Discount: **Apply a percentage discount to the product price (e.g., 20% off).
Fixed Amount Discount: Deduct a specific amount from the product price (e.g., $10 off).
Shipping Discount: Offer a discount on shipping costs, such as free shipping or a fixed discount on shipping fees.

4. Set the Discount Value

Once you’ve selected the coupon type, enter the desired discount value in the corresponding field:

For Percentage Discount, enter a number between 1 and 100.
For Fixed Amount Discount, enter the amount to be deducted (e.g., 10 for $10 off).
For Shipping Discount, set the discount amount or leave it as 100% for free shipping.

5. Save Your Changes

Click Save to apply your changes. Your coupon will now reflect the updated discount type and value.
