How to Display Applied Coupon Labels on Cart Page
Showing a clear indication of applied coupons on the cart page enhances the customer experience and reduces confusion during checkout. This guide will walk you through the steps to enable and customize the “Coupon Applied” label on your cart page.
In your Shopify Admin, open the Klip Coupons app.
From the left-hand menu, click Settings.
You can fully customize the “Coupon Applied” label based on the type of discount being used. This gives you complete flexibility over how each promotion appears to your customers.
Supported coupon types include:
Product Discounts – Customize labels for product-based offers.
Shipping Discounts – Create unique messages for free or reduced shipping promos.
Order Discounts – Tailor labels for discounts applied to the entire order (e.g., 10% off your cart).
Buy X Get X Discounts – Display specific labels when customers qualify for Buy One, Get One-style offers.
Each coupon type can have its own text, color, and styling, giving you full control over how discounts are communicated at checkout.
In the Cart Page section, toggle on Show coupon label on cart.
This will display a label whenever a coupon has been successfully applied.
You can edit the label’s text, color, and style to match your store’s branding.
This label helps clearly communicate the applied discount (e.g., “10% Off Applied” or “Free Shipping Applied”).
Once configured, the cart page will show a confirmation label like the one below:
