How to Display Cross-Out Pricing on Collection Pages

Make discounts instantly visible on your collection pages by displaying the original price with a strikethrough and the discounted price. This creates a seamless shopping experience and helps customers see their savings immediately.

Follow these steps to set it up:

Step 1: Enable Collection Page Coupons

You can choose to display which products have discounts directly on your collection pages. This step is optional — but if you'd like to visually highlight discounted products, follow the steps below:

1. In your Klip Coupons admin, create a new coupon or edit an existing one.
2. Go to the Coupon Design tab.
3. In the left menu, select Collection Page Badge.
4. Enable Show coupon badge on collection page.
5. Click Save.

💡 This adds a visual badge to qualifying products, making it easier for customers to spot discounts at a glance.

Step 2: Enable Auto-Apply Coupons (Required)

Next, set the coupon to apply automatically so that customers see the discounted price immediately:

1. While editing the coupon, stay in the Coupon Design tab.
2. In the left menu, select Redeem Action.
3. Enable Auto-apply coupon when visiting product page.
4. Click Save.

💡 This ensures that discounts appear automatically without customers needing to clip a coupon or take extra action.

Step 3: Enable Cross-Out Pricing

Finally, show the original price crossed out and the discounted price right on the collection page:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Klip Coupons.
2. Click Settings → Cross-Out Pricing.
3. Enable Update new product price with compare-at price when coupon is applied.
4. Enable Show crossed-out prices on collection pages.
5. Click Save.
