Quick Guide: Installing Klip on Your Shopify Store
Getting started with Klip is quick and easy! You'll have clickable Coupons on your Product Page in no time! We also have video tutorials on our YouTube Channel available in multiple languages!
Welcome to Klip! This quick guide will help you install Klip on your Shopify store and walk you through the initial setup to get your clippable coupons up and running in no time. Follow these steps to go from installation to creating your first coupon.
Go to the Klip App Store Page.
Click Add App and follow the prompts to install Klip to your Shopify store.
After installation, you’ll be redirected to the Klip Dashboard.
Start the Onboarding Tutorial: The tutorial will guide you through basic settings, like configuring coupon design and placement. For a detailed walkthrough, click here.
Open Theme Customizer: Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize to open the theme editor for your active theme.
Enable the Klip App Extension: In the theme editor, find and enable the Klip app extension for your active theme. This step is essential for displaying the coupon block on your product pages.
Add the Klip App Coupon Block:
Navigate to the Product Page: In the theme customizer, use the page selector dropdown to go to the product page template.
Add Block: Click on Add Block and select Klip App Coupon Block from the list of available blocks. This will ensure that the coupon is displayed on the product page.
Position the Block: Drag and drop the Klip Coupon Block to your preferred position on the product page, such as below the Buy Button or near the product description.
This step is essential for displaying the coupon block on your product pages and ensuring the app functions correctly.
Create a New Coupon:
Click Create New Coupon in the Klip Dashboard.
Set Discount Type and Value:
Choose the discount type (Percentage, Fixed Amount, or Shipping) and enter the value.
Select Products:
Apply the coupon to specific products, collections, or all products.
Customize and Save:
Personalize the appearance, set any additional conditions, and save your coupon.
